| Handball Challenge received via email: |
The mission of the Kansas City Athletic Club is to promote
the game of handball in every way, especially with the youth.
With that goal in mind, the KCAC will sponsor all Juniors
(18 and under) and College students for the three remaining
Kansas City Handball Tournaments: The KC 3 Wall, The Heart
of America (except the PHA Qualifiers) and The Handballesta.
This sponsorship means the KCAC will cover all entry fees
for the Juniors and College students for the above-mentioned
tournaments.
The Kansas City Athletic Club and it's members challenge
all Handball players and Handball organizations world wide
to extend any and all efforts to promoting the game of Handball.
Now is the time.
|
| Jim Krailler reports that this message was sent to the GCHA
email account. It was noted that the GCHA matches this challenge
by sponsoring local college handball teams in their travel and
tournament efforts, and goes one step farther by offering free
GCHA memberships to any student or collegiate handball team
member who signs up. |

| ShortLine Format - Jim
Krailler reminded the Board that, beginning with January 2005,
the ShortLine production will undergo significant changes in order
to reduce the burden of producing duplicate formats for online
and print versions: |
- The ShortLine is be produced in the
on-line (html) format only.
- The duplicated print format will be
phased out.
- Printed copies of the on-line format will be mailed only
to fully-paid, active members.
- Members who wish printed copies must make the request annually,
at time of dues payments.
|
GCHA Merchandise and other belongings - In anticipation
of relocating, Jim Krailler asked Board members to consider taking
possission of a number of items purchased through GCHA, including
merchandise, coolers, and other items needed for tournaments and other
events. George Lehocky volunteered to take possession of these items.
